Wisdom - More than just a word

James 3:17
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no partiality and is always sincere.

One of my prayers that I pray in most situations (should be all) is: "God, give me wisdom, and understanding in this situation. Help me to make the right decision. May your will be evident."

This verse explains a little more about the spirit of wisdom. Wisdom that comes from heaven (God) is first of all pure - peace loving - gentle - submissive - full of good deeds - does not show favor - and is always sincere.

When making a decision - try to see if it will fit the above description of God's wisdom.
