~Meditations~: Worship song. . .

I found this webblog - when surfing - - But thought I'd share it as well. "God see's our beginnings, You stand at the end. And yet you remain..." How awesome is our God! Who see's our steps and observes our faults - and still remains faithful.

My prayer today:
Lord, I thank you so much for your love for me. I appreciate your grace and mercy. Thank you Lord for covering me with your blood and seeing past my faults - looking at me with your perfect love. Seeing the image that you created. Thank you Lord. I love you. - Growing in God's Love - TIM

"I've discovered this line in a worship song on a Israel worship CD & I think it's really beautiful:

"You see my beginnings,
You stand at the end.
And yet You remain....."

Isn't that neat?" ~Meditations~: Worship song. . .

The Ant and the Contact Lens

If you feel your life is full of heavy burdens - please read this... - I know life can sometimes feel like a load is on our shoulders - but we never know, we may be helping someone else. Be Blessed Today

---------------------

The Ant and the Contact Lens: a true story
Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. "Great," she thought. "Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry."

She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn't there.

She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens.

When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains. She thought of the bible verse "The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth."

She thought, "Lord, You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me."

Later, when they had hiked down the trail to the bottom of the cliff they met another party of climbers just starting up the face of the cliff. One of them shouted out, "Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?"

Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it!

The story doesn't end there. Brenda's father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption, "Lord, I don't know why You want me to carry this thing. I can't eat it, and it's awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I'll carry it for You."

I think it would do all of us some good to say, "God, I don't know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it's awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will."

God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

Yes, I do love GOD. He is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him....I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)

Lion of Judah

Here is a great song chorus that has great meaning and depth. I hope you enjoy. Rejoice today because our King reigns and is powerful. Our King is ruler of all. Creator of the universe. Mighty like a lion. Bold as a lion. Majestic as a lion. REJOICE!!

Chorus -Lion of Judah by Jason Upton

Hear the sound of the Lion of Judah
See the fire and the fear in the enemy’s camp
From the sound of the lion of Judah roaring again
There’s a new generation arising
A nameless, faceless, placeless tribe
All they fear is the fear of the Lord
All they hear is the Lion of Judah

All I saw were bones breaking in the darkness
Then I walked into the light
There I saw an army coming from the river
With five stones ready to fight

The Biblical Judah (in Hebrew: Yehuda) is the original name of the Tribe of Judah - traditionally symbolized by a lion. In Genesis, the patriarch Jacob refers to his son Judah as a Gur Aryeh גּוּר אַרְיֵה יְהוּדָה , a "Young Lion" (Genesis 49:9) when blessing him [1]. In Jewish naming tradition the Hebrew name and the substitute name are often combined as a pair, as in this case. As a result of the lion's link to the tribe of Judah, the dominant tribe among the ancient Israelites and the legendary ancestor of the Kingdom of Judah, Judea and the modern Jews, variations or translations of the word "lion" have been used as a substitute name for Judah (Yehuda) among Jews. An example is the name of Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel. Loew is a German/Yiddish word for "lion." The popular modern Hebrew name Ari (also Arieh or Aryeh) translates as "lion".

The lion is often assumed to represent Jesus. Many Christian organizations and ministries use the lion of Judah as their emblem or even their name.
A representation is derived from the Book of Revelation 5:5; "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." curtesy of Wikipedia. Are you Tired, Stressed, Depressed?

Being or Feeling Tired, Faint, Fatigued, Stressed, Depressed, Weary, Weak, Exhausted - are all words that plague us as humans. Read Isaiah 40:28-31 below. You will find that God is the opposite. He never grows faint, never tires, and is never stressed. - And this is what He desires for you.

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
HE WILL NOT GROW TIRED OR WEARY,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY
and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
BUT those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

We need to depend and rely on God for strength. Put your Hope in HIM. As the Word says: "He gives strength to the weary" - I want this to be an encouragement for you today. If you feel any signs of being tired, weary, stressed etc... - Look to God, the creator of your body, soul and mind for Strength and Power (energy). My words can't do justice for how much God cares for you and WANTS to give you strength. Don't doubt His word - It's real for YOU today.

Trust and Ask

Jesus said: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me". Luke 14:1

Jesus was comforting His disciples, His friends, His close companions -- Be encouraged today, He is also talking to you. He won't forget you - He won't leave you. Trust Him. I'm not just writing words to be writing here. I really do believe and know that He is always there for you. There ready for you to call on His name. A few verses down from the above says: "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." Luke 14:13-14.

Let that comfort your heart today. If you feel troubled, as Jesus said - Trust Him. Ask in Jesus' name what you need - He 'WILL DO IT'.

Don't doubt it - it's in His word -

Have a great day today,

Growing in God's Love,

TIM

P.S.-Hannah Grace is doing great - she is now 3 months old and progressing so well. She has a great smile. Just this morning - I fed her a bottle, changed her diaper - she was looking at me so intently -- she gave me a big smile; that sure melts my heart.
I believe we melt Father God's heart when we smile at Him. - He tends to us, takes care of us - feeds us - clothes us - and even cleans up our mess. Smile at God today... thank Him for His attention to us - He'll appreciate that.

Worship scriptures

If you've known me for a while you may know that I love to worship God. Here is a list of scriptures that are great pertaining to worship. If you are having a rough day - I can assure you that if you take the time to say a simple thank you to God for something good in your life - you will be uplifted. It may be hard at first to get your flesh (yourself) to make a sincere effort to - but get those first few words out - Thank you Lord for __________ (you fill in) - then continue on. You will be blessed in many ways. Your day will begin to feel brighter and you will soon realize how fortunate you are. Just something I thought would help your day.
